GLP-2
What is GLP-2(T)?
GLP-2(T) is a tirzepatide-class dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor co-agonist research peptide. With the molecular formula C₂₂₅H₃₄₈N₄₈O₆₈ and a molecular weight of 4813.5 g/mol (CAS: 2023788-19-2), it is a 39-amino-acid synthetic peptide on a GIP-based backbone bearing a C20 fatty diacid moiety conjugated to Lys20 for albumin binding and extended plasma half-life in preclinical pharmacokinetic models. Studied in pancreatic beta-cell and adipocyte culture systems for concurrent GIP receptor (GIPR) and GLP-1 receptor (GLP-1R) signal transduction. Supplied lyophilized for in vitro research use only.

Mechanism of Action
GIP Receptor (GIPR)
Gs-protein coupled cAMP signalingTirzepatide-class peptides engage the GIP receptor with high affinity, activating adenylyl cyclase and elevating intracellular cAMP in beta-cell and adipocyte culture models.
GLP-1 Receptor (GLP-1R)
Concurrent incretin receptor co-agonismThe same molecule simultaneously engages the GLP-1 receptor, letting researchers study combined GIPR/GLP-1R cAMP signaling that single-agonist tools cannot replicate.
